Art on the wall is an ongoing photography project, where I show street art of graffiti and murals, sometimes including other urban elements. Graffiti...City tattoos...Art free of all kinds of rules, art that began with young people running on the train tracks, pure expression of almost always anonymous artists who work for pure pleasure, expressing ideas, feelings and emotions. An art in many cases persecuted, indomitable, rebel, irreverent art, but above all it is freedom.
After decades, " urban tattoos " are no longer persecuted, on the contrary, they are sought after, and world-renowned artists are increasingly muralists, who are requested in any corner of the world to paint large murals in villages, towns, cities and megacities...And, although there are great artists and masterpieces, that rebellion has been lost a bit, that irreverent and indomitable freedom.
